the start of our
lives
Chapter 38
It’s been four days since I got the mystical phone call at
the mall. I haven’t got any clues of who it was except that
they know about Christian. The only people I could think of that
knew about Christian were Justin, Madison, me, Jon, and Christian.
Well it definitely wasn’t me Christina or Madison, and I
don’t think Jon would do that considering he hates Justin.
Also, knowing Justin I don’t think he would do that either;
and he broke up with me. I got out of my bed and got ready for
school, TGIF.
When I got to school I went straight to Madison’s locker and
stayed there till homeroom ended; that’s what we usually did.
I couldn’t stand anyone in my homeroom so Madison and I just
stand in the hallway and talk.
The day went by quick and at the end of 8th period I
went to my locker and then met Madison at his. I walking down the
hallway his locker was in and I saw him and Hannah talking.
Ewww. She started bursting out in laughter and
didn’t stop till I started to get close. “Ok,
I’ll text you.” She said and walked away. “Why
were you talking to here.” I said looking at her till she
turned the corner. “Just because you’re not her friend
doesn’t mean I’m not.” Madison said. “Whoa,
I was just asking. No need to get defensive.”
“I’m sorry babe.” Madison said and gave me a
kiss. “She’s a nice girl, and I think it’s time
you give her another chance. You guys used to be best friends, what
happened?” He knew exactly what happened and after a few
moments he remembered that he did. I started to walk away and he
grabbed my arm. “Julia I’m sorry, I wasn’t
thinking. I don’t think about that because it doesn’t
matter to me; you’re the only thing that matters to me. She
came up to me; and her locker is right next to mine so it’s
kind of hard not to say anything to her.” Madison said.
“I love you.” He said and gave me a kiss. “I love
you too.”
After school I went over to Madison’s house and we just hung
out. We were sitting on his bed as my phone started to ring.
“I’ll be right back” I said and walked into the
hallway. I answered it and said “hello.” “I
thought I told you to stay away from Madison.” The other
person said. “Why?” I asked. “Because I said
so.” They said. “I don’t have to listen to
you.” “Yes you do. Now get out of his house.”
How do they know I’m in his house? “What are
you gonna do?” “You’ll see.” They said and
hung up. I walked back into Madison’s room and he was staring
at his phone. “What are you looking at?” I asked
sitting back down on the bed. “What is this?” Madison
asked picking up his phone to my face so I could see what was on
the screen. He showed me a picture of me and Christian kissing.
“Who sent you that?” I asked very confused because I
never kissed Christian. “A blocked number, but that’s
not important. I can’t believe you kissed him!” Madison
said. “I never kissed him. I haven’t even saw him since
I was in California.” I said. “You are such a liar. You
bought that shirt at the mall last weekend.” I looked at the
picture and realized he was right. “Madison I know it looks
bad but you have to believe me. I never kissed him, ever in my
life. I promise you.” I said. “I can’t believe
you.” “Madison, it never happened. You have to believe
me.” I said. “I think you should leave.” Madison
said. I grabbed my stuff and left like he said to. When I reached
my room I laid back on my bed. I didn’t cry, or yell, I just
thought. I thought about how someone could to that to another human
being. How they could sit there and purposely screw up
someone’s relationship. Why? Because they’re jealous?
Because they feel bad about themselves? I just don’t find it
humanly possible for someone to do that. I didn’t know who it
was and I didn’t know how I could stop them; but what I did
know was that I would stop them.
