Fading Mascara Chapter 1 Aubrey's POV My father pulled me down the stairs still painfully grabbing my arm. "Where the hel l were you?" He yelled. I noticed how drunk he was by just looking at him. He pushed me down to the grown throwing a punch at my stomach. My eyes started to get all watery. He slapped my face leaving a mark on my facing. I started to quietly whimper. "Why me?" I couldn't stand it. ------ The next day I woke up. i peered out of my bedroom looking for any clue of my parents being awake. Heariong and seeing nothing, I went back into my room. I got into my clothes covering the scars and bruises my father caused. Eating nothing, I slowly wallked past the front door. I opened my locker but I felt a presence behind me and decided to walk off. Ava and her little group started to follow me,but eventually caught up. She pushed me against a group of lockers pinning me against the lockers. "You're such a skan.k. You derserve to die." She said as she started to walk off laughing. "You derserve to die." She was right I did deserve to die,atleast I would be happier. During lunch, I sat beneath a tall oak tree, with my nose in a book. "He kissed her lips softly-" I read. Today felt different;It just felt strange.
