so whats the meaning behind this? (i like analyzing meaningful quotes) so it is saying that it is better to physically hurt than to verbally??..cuz that i like or is it saying that its better to walk away from the problem than to make it worst by hruting the other with verbal words..cuz that is really deep and i love that!...so can u help me with this..i would be greatful ;))

I think the meaning of this quote is that it is better to literally slip, like on ice when you simple fall over, than it is to say something you will regret.
