You shouldn't have joined the internet then. It happens do be filled with people from the real world, and unfortunately, the unoriginal ones that try to shout loud enough are the ones that are heard by the rest of the people.

I still make quotes because I like them and I need a place to store them in case I want to read them again.
If other people like it? Great!
If 300 people like it? Excellent!
If no one likes it? Even better!

Here's the popular people's secret - maybe after reading this, you'll laugh at how pathetic and desperate they are: they make multiple accounts just to favorite their own quotes. So the next time you see a '100' on their quotes, just know 60 of them are their own selves. :-)

100% agree with you. This place used to be.. what it used to be. now, it's just the same people on the top quote everyday. Some of their quotes aren't even original. talk to me if you need to ok? Cause, there are still some good people left in this place. (: You're a diamond. dont forget that. x

There are always going to be the popular kids, wherever you go. It sucks that you feel like that though :(

Not everyone can be super loved and feel worthful in a big community of people such as Witty or real life.
A word of advice, surround yourself with close friends that make you feel special to avoid the feeling of being worthless.

Ikr? They have so many followers that no one even looks in the "newest" quotes thing. They just fave from those four people and the rest of us are sitting here.

Am I the only one that absolutely despises 'witty populars' like BravoSierra? I see so many recycled quotes from a lot of popular authors than I basically blocked and ignored them so I won't see their quotes. Jimmy365, not that bad, cause we've actually conversed on stuff before. But honestly, I'm sick of populars always getting top quotes when the rest of us can only manage 20 or less for something meaningful. Granted I made it a few times to the top quotes, it doesn't matter. Do they feel good, dominating the top quotes while the rest of us barely get 20? Their glorious 300+ faves for almost EVER quote?

so true. But you have to admit Jimmy365 allways has atleast 1 quote on the top quotes page, but usually 2 or 3. Some of her quotes arent original either.

My problem isn't that the top quotes always come from the same people. If they make good quotes (Like ThatsSoMeeeee) then it's not a problem. My problem is when they get their quotes from iFunny or Tumblr. It's like, yeah, they're funny, but those aren't your ideas. Hope you come back soon and join us Wittians that do understand! P.S. It depends what she's writing about. Some of them are really good, and some of them I don't even bother to look at.

100% agree. It might as well be school with all the popular kids complaining about boyfriends and One Direction. Witty used to be my sanctuary, and, as much as I can't say I hate it, it now sucks. Everytime I make a new quote that I've worked hard on, I think 'ooh, maybe I'll get a top quote here? Just maybe?' but of course, the first 7 pages of top quotes are taken up by HaleStorm, Jimmy365, Thatssomee, yourcool... You get the idea. Yeah, they work hard at their quotes, but not any harder than the rest of us. It makes me sad that new people on Witty won't be able to know the good Witty that we did. It makes me sad that we don't know the good Witty we did:'( Rant over, sorry xx
