Chapter Sixteen; Part II
Liam's POV:
There were a few girls and guys that had strong voices, and there were some that were good, but needed support; I was mentally putting them into groups together and it reminded me of how the lads and I got started. A minute or so after they went to commercial, I heard Niall come down the stairs, "Liam, mate, you still here?"
"Yeah, I'm in here." The show reterned and I nearly fell out of my seat as my suspition had been proven true. I watched my daughter, my own flesh and blood, walk out onto the huge X Factor stage. I was speechless and stunned as I hung onto the cushions for dear life as I waited for her to talk.
She introduced herself as someone else and I thought back to what she said in the kitchen that one day; she was taking matters into her own hands and going after what she loved. I was immensley proud of her, but at the same time extremely angry with her for putting us all through this. Especially her mother.
"Hey whatcha watching," Niall stood next to the sofa with his mouth hanging open. "Is that her?"
"I think-" I stopped to watch Parker come out with the guitar Harry bought him for his birthday. "Yeah, that's definitley them. Go get the girls." I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed, knowing that my daughter was safe. I could sleep easy tonight, and so could the rest of us.
"What is it?" Amber exclaimed. Only El and Kristen followed behind her. Their eyes fell upon the television and the wine glass slipped out of Amber's fingers.
"Call Bri back. I found the kids." She turned, stepping on a shard of glass and letting a profanity exit her lips. I turned around, listening to my sweet daughter start to sing.
"When all our tears have reached the sea," That's my girl. "Part of you will live in me. Way down deep inside my heart."
"Everyone come out her and listen to Miracle!" I shouted, as any proud father would. To my right sat a starry eyed Aaron, watching his beautiful, big sister do what she was born to do. Kristen and El stood behind the sofa; El wrapped her one arm around Aaron's neck and the other patted my shoulder as the chorus was about to come.
"You'll find better love. Strong as it ever was. Deep as the river runs. Warm as the morning sun." She took a glance back at Parker who smiled back at her with love in his eyes. "Please, remember me."
They stopped her and judged her, like they should, but I didn't really hear what they said. All I could hear was Amber yelling and yet another glass fall, helplessly, to the floor. I went to go see what was wrong, but El's grip tightened on both Aaron and I, advising us to stay put. "No, Niall. Please, stop." She cried out and in response got the porch door slammed shut.
"You are such a talented young girl. So is your friend, here. So, it's a yes from me, Sweetheart." I heard someone comment to my daughter, but the camera panned away before I could see who. All I saw was Miracle hop into Parker's arms screaming. She had made it through. I smiled and then let my lips fall as I remembered Amber in the kitchen. After sending a quick text to Miracle, I stood up and ran to her mother who sat crying on the floor in a pool of glass and red liquid.

Thanks for reading, Loves! Wow, intense chapter, huh? Especially the end. I think I got ANOTHER great idea for this story ;D So a few of you have tried to figure out the title meaning and you're all so so close! But no on has said the reason I called Aided by an Angel. I'll give you a hint though: Think back to One in a Million!!! Anyway, I'd like to dedicate this chapter to Isabella (bowtiesandfezzes) because she is my best friend and I love her so so so so so so so so much<3 Also I'd like to make a SHOUTOUT to BlackKeysLover (Madi) and finding_nemo (Kristen) for being totes awesome :)xx
