Discovering that
someone who has changed can not be changed back hits you hard.
Losing them hits you harder. And in that moment of loss, you
begin to realize who and what truly matters; you begin to realize
what exactly you believe in. You stand before the truth
like a stranger, hesitant to meet it. And in that moment
you're hesitation may get the best of you but at one point
you will meet it, and you will realize that
it's for the better.
Someone who has never
experienced the feeling of loss has not taken a risk.
However, she took the risk.
And she lost. Oh, she lost.
