Chapter 3~ First Days

Now that you know the basics about me and Drake, I can finally start to tell you my story. It starts on the first day of Junior year, back to school now that summer is over. The first day is filled with plenty of screaming from the girls excited to see the friends they literally just saw last weekend, but haven't seen in ''forever''. Manuevering my way through embracing couples, annoying screamers, and the assorted other people I go to school with, I finally make it to the wall behind the gym where I sit with Drake everyday. He isn't there yet, so I take out a notebook and keep a tally of how many people annoy me on the first day back. School hasn't even started yet and the number has already hit 27.
Drake sits down next to me about five minutes later with two hot chocolates and some donuts.

Drake: Good morning Miss Char, guess who brought you a delicious treat this morning?
Me: Hmmm I dunno, Johnny maybe?

Johnny is friends with Drake and me, he's a Sophomore though so sometimes we call him Little Johnny.

Drake: Nope Char, it's meee. You're a terrible guesser, maybe I shouldn't share my delicious donuts with you.

I swear Drake gets more cheeky every day.

Me: Well then I guess I'll just have to add you to my list of people who annoyed me on the first day if you're gonna be rude.
Drake: Pshh come on Char, you know you love me. And donuts.
Me: Well I do love donuts.

We spent the next half hour just eat and catching up about whatever we had missed with eachother over the weekend. Then the bell rang for school to start and Drake and I walked over to our first class of the day, art.
As soon as I walked in the room, the first thing I saw was him. Brian was in the same art class and me and Drake. I didn't realize that I had held my breath, until Drake asked if I was okay. I was a little stunned that Brian was in our class and I felt like I couldn't move.

Drake: Hey, Char, wher do you wanna sit?
Me: Um, I-I don't know, wherever you want is fine.

I think Drake must've figured out by now that I have a thing for Brian, he is my best friend after all. He just kind of understands things without me having to tell him sometimes.

Drake: Come on Char, let's go sit near your boyfriend.
Me: Drake, he is not my boyfriend now shut up before her hears you.
Drake: Aww, let's go sit near him Char Char.

Without giving me a chance to answer, Drake picked me up and put me in the seat across from Brian, and he sat next to me. My heart was beating madly, I was really nervous. And then sometine I never would've guessed could happen, he talked to me.

Brian: Hey, cool hair.
Drake: Thaaaanks, me and Char Char do our hair together, don't we look cuuute?

Sometimes I can't stand this kid.

Me: Thanks, I'm Charlotte, but you can call me Char if you want, and that loser is Drake.
Drake: Char Char don't be rude.
Brian: That's a nice name, I like it. Char and Drake, nice ring to it. If you don't mind me getting kind of personal, are you guys dating?

Oh, great. Just great. He finally talks to me, and he things I'm dating Drake. This is just fantastic. Not.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to write
lately, I've been really busy with school.
I prefer to write the speaking parts with
their names in front so it's easier to read
and I don't have to do different POVs for
each chapter. Let me know what you think,
