lol at all the people who are against these types of quotes because "witty is a place to vent and write stories, not compete for top quotes". IT IS a place to get top quotes and I know 90% of wittians look at their own quotes at "top this hour" and go "omgomgomg I hope I get a top quote woo I want to be witty famous", so in fact, you're just speaking out the truth.
Human beings like to be competitive and that isn't going to change here, so why not have a laugh about it?

So, my opinion is, keep making these quotes, so long as you don't make them mean or hurtful (which you haven't so far).

Yep. Also, I don't get why people are saying bad stuff about you. Really, you are just telling people what is going on in a sense. Like say someone was new on Witty, you are pretty much telling them who is popular, some news about Witty, ect. I think what you are doing is awesome!

Wow. That's just sad because what if I don't love you, and gossip isn't meant to be shared between people online. Witty is where you put quotes. I think that this is your opinion on who you like, doesn't matter how many faves their are on the quote. There shouldn't be a ranking, and Steve should always be at the top. >.<

Yeah. People just start gaining new perspectives when they read everyone else's comments and stuff, and just go on other people's sides because their reason seems 'better and cooler' or they're more liked by most people. Then, when you sent the comment, you just realize, 'oh man im such a jerk' and then try to apologize.

My opinion: you're just pitting Wittians against each other with all the "top quoter" drama. And you can make or break us? No. Yeah, getting a top quote is pretty awesome, but a lot of girls come on here to feel loved or to vent or find a story or a song or something funny, not just to overthrow "top quoters." I'm not trying to hate on you and your whole gossip column idea, but you're just gonna end up stirring up more drama, fights, and problems. So you can do what you'd like. Make me or break me, or, at least, attempt to. But you're just going to start a lot of unnecessary trouble.

I know, but if you go through your some of your quotes, some of them can be taken the wrong way, and sound almost like you're attempting to pit people against each other. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm sorry if my comment above was harsh or anything. Whether your quotes are in good fun or with some other motive, from an outsiders POV, they can be misinterpreted to sound like someone starting to cause trouble.
