No, but it really p//ses me off that teachers don't
understand that some
students suffer from mental disorders like social anxiety and
force them to talk in class for a grade. Like, no thanks. I'm
perfectly fine listening and taking notes.
Actually they do. And if your anxiety or whatever is that severe that you can't talk In class for a minute then you can get forms set in place to get them not to. But I'm talking SEVERE social anxiety. And it would take alot of convincing on your doctors part that you should be excused from participation.
My english teacher called me a parasite because I don't contribute to class discussions and 'feed' off information from others. I just don't want to talk.
It ticks me off when people don't realize that you HAVE to learn how to talk in front of people and that is an essential life skill that is better to acquire sooner than later.
I hate that so much :/ Especially when I don't have my hand up they ask me the question anyway. Or they chose me to read and I mess up the words and say stupid things like "air" instead of "stairs." I'm pretty sure my class thinks I'm a bleach blonde bimbo, because of my social awkwardness:/
