It's ridiculous how many people make fun of and harp on me for being a cheerleader. I work my butt off and who are they to judge what they've never tried!
That is so true and but I don't agree with sparkelyunicorns7 sense I am in cheer and was in gymnastics. I think cheer is harder and takes a lot more work. ;)
what level of gymnastics, because if your were in a lower level our prep opt or just in classes, then yea cheer probably is harder, levels 9 and 10 is when it gets real.
^^Agreed, im in cheer and tumbling and cheer is a lot harder because gymnastics you arent using as much strength i would say and dont get me wrong you still have to be strong to do gymnastics, but cheerleading you have to lift people and throw them in the air and catch them....i was a base for a girl that back handspringed into the pyramid, and we had to hold her up, spin her around, and put her down...it was her, me another base and the back doing this.
gymnastics is strength, flexibility, endurance and courage, speed, hand eye coordination, and a shitload of stupidity. it has everything all other sports have all wrapped up in one, nothings harder.
