little girl: *runs up to me* i wanna be just like you when i grow up.
friend: no, you dont wanna be like her..
little girl: why not? she's beautiful.
friend: her wrists aren't.
little girl: *pulls upp my sleeves* what are those?
friend: her scars.
me: *pulls sleeve back down.*
little girl : what happened?
friend: she's in a battle.
little girl: with who?
friend: herself.
little girl: don't do that, you're so much stronger than you think,
& even if you dont see it, you're beautiful. & trust me, any guy
would be lucky to have you, anyone would be lucky to have you, even as a friend.
me: i love you.. *has tears in my eyes.*
little girl: *gives me a huge hug, kissed my wrist, leaves.*
