I love getting texts first. It's like when I'm sitting alone at a table or on a bench and then someone just comes over, sits next to me, and starts a conversation. It's the best.

I agree. I think it should be a shared thing, sometimes girls should text the guys first and sometimes the guy should text the girl first. The reason why a lot of girls don't want to text first is because they think it will annoy the guy and maybe he doesn't want to talk to her. She's worried that if she does text him first and he gets annoyed or doesn't feel like talking to her it could mess up whatever chance she has with him. I imagine it's the same feeling for guys though

Yeah, I think it's sweet when a guy texts me first cause it seems like he really does care. But I text him first sometimes too to how him I care about them too. I guess to some guys it may be annoying if the girl always texts him though, if they're jerks or really don't like the girl.
