If my kids ever tell me that they want to grow up
I will show them my scars
And tell them that things usually don't get better as you get older
I will tell them that people will judge you and make fun of you
And you won't always be strong
I will have my kids learn from my mistakes
I'm always going to be there for them
I'm going to support them and try to help them
I'm going to talk to them and just make sure their okay
I'm going to make sure they don't end up like me
I'm actually going to be there for my kids unlike my parents
Because parents are important
And when I become one I'm going to try to be the best I could be
Because I don't want them to go through what I've gone through
I am going to be honest with them when they are little so they don't assume that as you get older life gets better
Sometimes you just have to tell them how it is when they are young

Because they deserved to be loved

I see where you're gOing and that you mean well, but this will only scare them. They'll never be complete usage from the stuff so I'd wait till they experience the beginning of it And tell them then. I don't wanna scare them about the future because some lessons can only be learne from experience

This is beautiful and you come across as a very loving and caring person but you must also understand at a very young age children should not be downloaded into, given the real deal. Remember to let them still be children, to enjoy the small things any other child would be. But this quote is amazing and I have nothing against it..
