THANK YOU! Jeez, I read the first book when it came out and I loved the dynamics of the whole place. How the twelve sections were being suppressed and the Capital showed all the worst parts of our society, the naivity, the selfishness, the moral-conflictions. It was such a great read that left you questioning your own morals and life style, giving you the motervation to make yourself a better person to avoid becoming a Capital servilian. Sure, the love aspects was a nice touch but I hate the fact that its now eclipsed the real reason of the book, the main problems the book shows. When I started to hear that the books were becoming famous (mainly because of the damn movie, as always) I was excited at first (stupid me) because I had more people who would listen to my fangirl gibberish but then it dawned on me- The book was going to be ruined for me and for many faithful fans just because of the media and growing fanbase who will overuse/abuse the books :( *Sigh*

YES. The reason I loved The Hunger Games so much was because the love triangle WASN'T the main plot. I hear all these people talking about "Peeta and Katniss forever <3333" and I'm just thinking ''No. Stop. You do not understand the point of the series."

So true. Life isn't all about boyfriends and girlfriends. This world is messed up and society chooses to focus on who's dating who in Hollywood rather than important problems that actually have an effect on the future, like global warming, and the polar ice caps melting. Ten years from now we might be counting the days until pollution wipes out the whole human race, but at least we'll know the famous people that are dating each other. Because that's what's important......right?
