People always ask me why I read so much. I read
because it's my escape. It's how I've managed to
survive so long. Getting lost in characters' emotions, the
adventure, romance, embarrassment, anger, it disconnects me from
my own problems.
Of course, they're the problems like when a character dies, you develop crushes on the male characters, the book series ends, you're grounded from books, etc.
I read because I like it.
