Chapter Thirty Eight
♦ Lauren's P.O.V ♦
I was dancing with Aden when I noticed Alli was gone.The party music was hard core and I wondered if someone had gotten Alli in trouble.Aden noticing me being troubled squeezed my hands and hugged me.
But we don't need to rush this.
Let's just take it slow.
Lady A was singing in the background as I leaned in to Aden who brushed my hair back gently.
"We'll defeat S Lauren."Aden said lovingly.
"I hope so Aden.Everyone's fate is tied into this."
"Have you noticed Alli isn't here?"Aden asked.
"Yeah I was wondering if it was just me."I said reassured that he noticed too.
"Yeah we better call her."Aden said as I took my phone out.It beeped twice and my eyes widened and the floor suddenly felt like it was made of pudding.
Have fun seeing your friends at the Roman Catholic Chruch.Or should I say have fun seeing their dead body.-S
I read it outloud as the horrible reality sunk into me.My friends were in danger in every minute.Aden and I ran outside to get in the car as it started raining again.Mist shrouded the area as the chruch stood there looking regal like.The gate creaked as I saw footprints being washed away just as we got there.Someone was here.
S was here before.
Aden whispered,"We're running out of time."
"Yeah let's go."I said as we ran towards the doors.I knocked on it but couldn't open it.My hair was getting wet as the clothes became heavier on me showing every curve I have.Alli was trapped there with S.
My phone beeped again.
How's the ride?I'm sure you're loving it.Let's hope that poor little Alli doesn't get bitten by something or someone-S
I gasped as Aden whirled around.A shhhhhhhhhh sound came from the bushes as a snake coiled itself out.My body froze as Aden looked around for a weapon.The snake came closer and closer and now I knew Alli was going to be killed by this snake.I could hear S laughing in my head.
S couldn't win.Not this time and never.
The snake bit me on the ankle.I could hear Aden shaking me but slowly the gray fog went over me.
A/N:I know it's been a long time but I've been busy.On my next story I'm thinking of just writing two chapters per week.
