- Chapter 14 I feared I'd never see him again, the thought made me more and more angry. Max was the only one that made me happy, made me forgot all of the horrible things that went on at home, but now, I was being taken right back to them all. I cried and screamed the whole way there, but no matter how much I did, I was going home, wheather I liked it or not. The police car stopped, and we'd arrived. The police man opened the door, and I got out slowly, before trying to make a run for it. I ran fast, but they caught me and dragged me back. I kicked and shouted abuse, but they had a tight grip on me. The door opened and my Dad stood there, with no expression on his face what so ever, just like usual. I thought that he might be happy to see me back, but no, he didn't care at all. It's like he wasn't even there. I was marched into the house, and the officers left, leaving me raged and upset. "I can't believe you made them bring me back. I bet you didn't even miss me, I don't even know who you are anymore." I said to Dad, trying to be hurtful, as it was his fault I was back. He just walked away, without saying anything. I ran upstairs, and opened my sisters bedroom door, to see if she was in. Oh she was in, with a bottle in her hand and a random boys tongue down her throat. "F.uck sake Rhi you could of at least knocked, this is Adam, I met him at a club last night, you don't have a con.dom on you do ya?" She said, taking another large gulp from the bottle. I looked at her disgusted, I opened my mouth to speak, but there was nothing to be said, so I walked out and ran into my room. I put on some music and turned it up loud, trying to block out the noice of my sister and that guy. I cried and cried, getting myself worked up and flustered. I ran my hands through my hair and pulled out great chunks through my fury. I ran for the scissors in my draw and pressed them to my skin on my other arm. I screamed and made the first agonising cut, but it wasn't enough. A second, a third, a fourth, the blood was everywhere. I stopped, and cried in my sorrow. The door opened, and in walked my uncle.
- Chapter 16 I lay on the floor, crying with blood trickling from my nose and mouth. I got up, every bone in my body hurting, and got myself into bed, I closed my eyes, wishing I was someone else, somewhere else, anything else. I wished I was with Max. I cried myself to sleep that night, waking up constantly from all the bad thoughts and nightmares I was having, each and every one, more terrifying than the last. The blood poured out of my arm, nose and mouth,staining the sheets, dying them red, a reminder of the pain I was so often feeling. After an hour of tossing and turning I eventually fell asleep. I hoped I would never wake up, never have to expirience anything so bad ever again, but I knew that in a couple of hours I would be awake again. There's no escape from this life. Unfortunately I did wake up, and the house was slient. It was 6:00am, and my bones ached more than ever. I slowly walked over to the cracked mirror that sat on my desk. My eye was black and bruised, and hurt like hell. Dry blood covered my face, I looked awful. I couldn't take anything any more. Life was not worth living, if this was what every day would be like.

He still didn't reach for the phone. “Are you going to get that?” I asked, gesturing towards the ringing phone. Ring ring ring. “No.” I gulped, nervously. “Say it again,” he demanded. “W-what? 'Are you going to get that?'” I recited, confused. Zach broke out into an amused smile and chuckled, quietly. “Not that,” he bit his lip. “Whats so funny?” I groaned. “I just wanted you to tell me you love me,” he grinned. His grin matched the humongous one on my lips. “I love you,” I told him. “Good,” he murmured. “Good?” “Yeah 'cause if you didn't feel the same way as I felt, I wouldn't be able to do this,” with that, he kissed me. - Using Mr Parker ♥ Logan ♥ C h a p t e r 38 For around half a minute, I waited outside nervously. I kept asking myself why he wasn't answering the door straight away like he usually does and then, he opened the door. There was no smile on his face, no smirk or no frown, his expression was as hard as a brick. We stood there, opposite each other for a few moments just staring, his eyes boring into mine and then he spoke. “Come in.” I walked inside his apartment and took a seat on the couch. He surprised me by coming and sitting next to me. I didn't think he'd do that, I opened my mouth to say something – anything but nothing came out. Zach laughed unhumourously, “This is so screwed up. I honestly have no idea what to think anymore." “Z-Zach,” I murmured and was surprise when he didn't correct me for not using 'Mr Parker'. “I owe you an apology. I am so sorry, I didn't mean for any of this to happ-” “Then what did you mean to happen, Logan? Just enlighten me.” “I just... I just wanted my mum to not need to worry about money. This was 5 grand that I could at least try to get, I didn't think I'd win and I never thought Courtney was going to get hold of that picture.” “Well guess what she did.” “And I'm so sorry but you won't need to worry about that now.” “What if she had got the photo that you could see both of us clearly? To you, five grand might be nothing but to me, thats a lot of money.” I reached into my bag, picking out a bundle of money. Five thousand dollars. “Whats that?” he asked. “Thats the money Courtney gave to me, I don't want it. You can have it,” I replied, putting the money on the table. “That money is nothing but filth to me now. It may have taken me a while to realise how horrible I was using you like that. I can't give that money to my mum.” Zach sighed, “I don't want that money. Give it to your mother.” “No,” I said, firmly. “Give it back to Courtney then,” he said. “I don't care what you do with the money, I don't want it though.” I didn't say anything but I didn't take the money. Zach leant in slightly and I hoped that he kissed me. I leant up and put my lips on his, my eyes fluttered open for a split second to see his wide open. He wouldn't kiss me back. Want a reminder? - Using Mr Parker ♥ Logan ♥ C h a p t e r 34 I had never experienced anything like this, I was in pain but my body wasn't hurt. I was in pain, emotion wise. I had been in my bedroom since I left school early. I hadn't wanted to go back to classes after the episode with Zach, all I wanted to do was curl up in my bed at home. No one was there when I got to the house so I curled up on the couch and watched whatever movies I could find. My mum came home and when she saw me, she frowned deeply. “Logan, baby, whats wrong?” she asked. “I'm just tired,” I lied. “You don't look just tired,” she told me as she sat down next to me. “Are you going to tell me?” “I did something really horrible, mum,” I cried, softly. “Hunny, I'm sure whatever it is, it isn't that bad. Someday you'll probably look back at it and laugh.” I just shook my head as my mum wrapped her arms around me, hugging me tightly. “Its okay, everything will be alright,” she soothed. I wish she was right. “Justin's coming over for dinner tonight, c'mon, lets go and we can make our pizza,” she winked and I nodded. My mum and I made pizza together as we laughed about silly nothings. It was just like old times, before dad left and everything screwed up. Justin and Aunt Cassidy joint us for dinner and in one word, it was enjoyable. The dinner kept my mind off Zach but Justin kept giving me looks through it so I knew he must of heard something. Justin and I headed up to my room and when we had closed the door, he said, “I know you and Zach broke up. I called him but he didn't tell me why. Are you going to?” he asked, raising his eyebrow. “I was avbitch.” “Don't call yourself that, Logan, just tell me what happened.” “You know how we need money – my mum and I – well, my friends and I had this 'game', whoever dated Zach for a week would get five thousand dollars. I won.” “W-what?” Justin stuttered. “I know,” I sighed, shame clear in my voice. “Do you like him, at least? Did you ever have any feelings for him?” “Yes, yes I did.” *** “What's going on?!” Grace exclaimed when she came into my room. “Nothing,” I muttered. “Why'd you leave school? Did something happen with Mr Parker?” Tears silently fell as I explained what had happened with Zach. “Who do you think sent the message?” “Courtney, I'm sure of it. She used my phone earlier and she didn't look too happy about giving me the money.” “Why don't you just give back the money? You love him!” “I don't love him, its just a silly school girl crush,” I told her. “I was only with him for a week, its not possible.” “A weeks all you needed and I know I wasn't the happiest about your relationship to begin with but you both love each other.
