I hate it when people joke about cutting,suicide,or eating disorders.

Well, I joke about them.. But I have anorexia, and I am a recovering cutter.. I joke because it makes me feel more in control.. But I don't appreciate it when people who don't understand it or me talk about it like it's no big deal. Cause it a big deal, my friends joke about it wih me, but they know what I went through, so they're helping me. It's.. Different though. But I know what you mean, so yea

I was at a punk ish fe'stival with my friend, we went to see an emo band because there wasn't anybody good atm, my friend kept laughing with how they probebly all cut themselves. After I said 2 times you really shouldn't laugh with that, the lifted her sleeves and her arms where full of scars. she said "I know, it's a real ". I just didn't know what to say

that's probably how she handles with hers and many people don't know what to say truth I don't think theres anything you can say

I just wish I would've.. hugged her and showed her mine and told her it was okay..; but I couldn't
