- *Bruises and Black Eyes* Chapter 17 I remember the police putting Tyler and Logan one seperate cars. Cops surrounded me, asking if I was okay. My black eye must have left a lot of unsolved questions. Maybe the wouldn't have had to take me to the police station if I actually answered them. But I couldn't. I was sobbing too hard. - The never released fairytale Chapter 8 To my surprise, my room was clean when I woke up. I thought about being grateful to them, but they would probably tell me I owe them one (or more), anyway. James entered the room bringing me breakfast. "Call yourself lucky, sweetie." "For what? That the baby died?" "Don't get cocky. Won't do you well.", I snuffed and took my food. "Who do I owe one?", James looked at me sort of amused. "What makes you think that?", I had never talked like that to one of them before. He left the room and I finished dressing just as Christopher came to get me and my usual schedule started. Well, quite usual. Today was my test for the black belt. Meaning I'll probably have many more bruises. And Seth acted like nothing hade happened yesterday. I passed the test, but I seriously felt like I couldn't stand anymore because my whole body ached. Nevertheless I had to shower anyway. Today with Luther. As usual, Steven brought me my food, still being the one I referred to. "How are you feeling?", that question kind of confused me. It must have been a smaller abandoned industria area. So I ghosted around there, trying to find the exit. Until someone grabbed my shirt from behind and said, "Where do you think you're going?" - The never released fairytale Chapter 9 The next day I was left alone. Tied in a small room with a rope lifting me so high only my toetips reached the floor and my arms were lifted over my head. I couldn't see anything but I knew my body would never regain from that. Basically, there was no part of my skin left that wasn't cut, deep or only on the surface. My head still wouldn't quite admit who caught me, who did this to me. I tried to omit that the person I most trusted practically betrayed me. At probably the end of the day the door opened and Leighton stepped in and lighted the room. If I thought my room would have looked like a set for a horror movie, this room proved me wrong. Maybe I should tell what happened. Steven first threw me against the wall, causing my head its first wound for that night. The knife he'd carried was stabbed into my shoulder after a second. That was my first long scream that night. Then he would carry me into this room, tie me up and torture me with the very same knife. Leighton lifted my head so I had to look him directly into the eyes. "I hope that was a lesson to you.", for the second time I'd begin crying. Leighton just looked emotionless, cold and angry. Alas, he hit me so hard my head fell almost into my neck. "If you should ever dare to do that again, it'll have bigger consequences, trust me.", probably referring to my attempt to leave, not to me crying. With that, he left the room, turning the lights back on and leaving me into the dark. I thought I had my lesson, really did. *five months later* I had the second black belt by now, could speak about eight languages and felt like I could become a lawyer or something. Luckily I got food now that gave me more energy because they finally figured out I couldn't stand on my feet otherwise. Also, I got more water. They all told me that I became so very beautiful whenever they gave me the late night visits. Didn't change anything. I had no idea how I looked now, because there is no single mirror in the facility, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to look at me anyway. My days haven't changed much. Except that I didn't talk to Steven the same way anymore. And he was no longer the only one that brought me dinner. Jeff told me that today was December 1st, giving me the introspection of the year. I think it was 2011 and I have been here for already two years, which appeared surreal to me. Was my family missing me? Were they searching for me? I decided to ask that to whoever brought me dinner tonight. It turned out to be Phillip. "Do you have any idea of my family?" "Huh?", he thought about that question for a while, then answered, "Heard you're still in like every news TV program and newspaper. Dunno how your family feels about you.", I hugged my legs tight to me and laid my head on my knees. "Does it even matter?", I didn't know why, but that made me kind of angry. "Why wouldn't it matter to me? You think I found a new family here?!” that seemed to have amused him because he grinned, but he remained quiet. As he left the room, I held the door from closing, trying to escape after 5 months again. Bad decision. This time Seth got me. I was seriously concerned about my health. Just as Leighton promised, it was way worse than the last time, not only due to the bigger strength of Seth. Again, Leighton came, telling me almost the same thing again.
