Quotes keep getting less and less faves so shes trying to say that faves might [well its almost impsossible :b] be so rare in a year xD It's a hyperbole i think xD

Serious Question: Instead of faves, what would be a better way to identify "good" quotes to show on the homepage?
Please don't change the favouriting system. That would be a mistake. Oh, and about what someone said concerning quotes getting loads of negative attention and getting to be at the top, maybe you should just make comments not count when it comes to a quote getting to be at the top. Like, people can still comment as much as they like, but the quotes at the top won't be the ones with loads of comments, but loads of faves. Just my opinion :)
I dont think " thumbs down" is a good idea because it will allow users who don't like eachother to show it and lessen the value of the quote just because of their feelings towards the person and not the actual quote however i do think there could be a new way to show appreciation towards a quote i'm just not quite sure how
No please don't do that, I love the favoriting system! And if we have thumbs up and down comments it will be like the people below me said: People will misuse the system and it will be much harder to get on the tops.
But i think it would be harder for people to get high notifications if we have the thinbs down option. If someone doesnt like a quote they should just ignore it. I like the favoriting system.
Maybe people can add some quotes on an 'all time favourite quotes' folder or something? &It'll show you how many people have added your quote in this folder? Idk >.<
Same i like the favorite and your suggestion about comments, but how about this idea: what if next to the "report quote" button there is a special "debate quote" button and if enough people press it and agree its a debatable quote that ha tons of comments taking away from other quotes then all the comments will be counted as half of a comment? Like, every 2 comments equal one comment.
As a witty veteran i can remember a time where witty girls worshiped male profiles instead of the devil. I log on after a year and see quite a few quotes glorifying the devil..
we should make ads on youtube or something. I was looking at the archive and the top quotes had like two thousands favs. even looking at my old quotes I got favorites and weird stuff. I remember thinking, "Huh, this only got ten faves?" now that's an accomplishment for me.

ehh, maybe the top today pages are getting a little over 200 now. it'll never be like when i first joined in early 2012 when quotes easily got 700 notications *starts crying*
