Well if you like him, the main thing you want is for him to be happy. So you don't want him to get his heart broken by your best friend, but you don't want him to choose you as a rebound from that either. So if he doesn't know she doesn't like him then you'll both have to ease it on him over time and then maybe you could spend more time with him as friends and try to develop a relationship from there? :) xx

Give him some time to think about what he really wants, because he wont choose you or her just based on what someone tells him. It sucks but only time will tell.
