Sometimes I just love walking to the lake and sitting on the dock
I put my feet in the water
And I just think
I sometimes talk about things even though no one is listening
I say things to people as if they were there and they can hear me but they can't
I splash the water with my feet
And something about the water is so soothing and relaxing
Breathing in the fresh air
Not having technology with me
Just enjoying the simple things in life
Hearing the birds chirping
Hearing the loons calling
Everything that surrounds me just makes me feel so alive
I get all my feelings out
and I feel better
Sometimes I lay
And I don't do anything
I just listen and enjoy life
Enjoy the little things that make me happy
Be myself and not worry about others
Having the little fish nibble my toes
All this may sound crazy
But this is the things in life that motivates me to keep on living
