It lives in the shadow
of my darkened soul
I cannot escape
from its eternal trouble.
I run, I hide,
I cut and I bleed.
But it keeps hurting me
no matter how much I plead.
It towers over me
like a 14 foot wave
Soon I will drown
and be washed to my grave.
