Her car is in her mother's name. Her mother won't let her drive & her mother won't take her. She's tried and her mom has made her call and quit. There are no buses since we live in small towns. And she doesn't have any money so she couldn't take the bus (if there was one) if she wanted too.

Her mother, when buying her car wrote her name down on the registration as well as her daughters. But even if she were to take the car her mom would call the police on her. She's done it before, so she'd do it again.

Does your friend have any other friends she could live with besides you possibly so she doesn't have to choose between either?

They all live in different states (moved after high school) so no. Not really and the one she lived with before was kicked out of her apartment and they lived on the streets then her "friend" abandoned her when she went into the military.

Oh okay, so that makes things even more difficult so pretty much she only has two choices: Live with her mom or live with her Dad. Honestly, in my opinion, I think she should live with the one who can provide her with a good home, meals, clothes, all of that, and who treats her right. I think the stuff (as in her computer, those kinds of things) shouldn't play a big factor since having a good place to live is more important. So whoever can provide her what I listed would probably be the right choice. I hope I helped at least a little

You did, honestly you did. But she just doesn't want to leave either. I know her computer isn't a big factor or anything like that I was just using them as examples. Since her mom won't give her anything. Medicine (for her asthma) etc... Because she's done it before. It's so frustrating to figure out. I'm staying there this weekend so hopefully I can help her figure something out.

She should go with her father, maybe to get her stuff she can try sneaking it out of the house and to her dads house, or into a car, obviously she won't be able to take everything like that, but she can take a lot. PS: She should probably try to get a job, just in case she needs to buy stuff.

She has been trying. No one will hire her because of her mother. They won't have cars if they really do go through with this. Her mother will claim everything. When they got married she made to put everything in her name and not his. Even their bank account. So they probably won't have much... No where around us is hiring, I've been trying too and no one will hire us. She needs it more than I. I wish I could just be like *poof* and give her a million dollars and a job. But life doesn't work like that unless you win the lottery. >.<
