Take Me Home Chapter 2 Part 2 Kristin’s POV I stared at my feet as I walked down the lonely street, passing by unfamiliar houses. The sun had already set hours ago and the temperature had dropped at least twenty degrees. Shivering, I kept walking, Drew the only thing on my mind. This just didn’t seem right. Right now, Drew was supposed to be walking me home or taking me out for ice cream. He would tell me one of his corny jokes and I would laugh, even though it was obviously not the least bit funny. He would smile at me with his perfect teeth, me trying to hide the fact that I had braces. Then we would drive home in his red pick-up. But that was never going to happen. The doctor had told me that his injuries were fatal, that he was so sorry, blah blah blah. I bet he had to say that to everyone. I walked on, not really knowing where I was going, and not being able to even produce any tears. I just felt empty. As I walked, I slowly became aware of a growing sound behind me, like tires on gravel. I slowly turned around and watched as my mom’s silver minivan came into view. I sighed, not really wanting to talk to her at the moment. The car stopped a few feet away and a figure stepped out. It wasn’t my mom. Harry. I ran to my best friend’s outstretched arms and let him hug me, tears now streaking my face. “I know, sweetheart. I know.” He guided me to the car where I was greeted by another boy, Louis. Sitting next to him, I buried my face in his chest, just wanting to die right there. Harry, you should call the boys and tell them we found her,” he said as the car started to drive away. - - - - - - I just realized that I never uploaded this part of the last chapter!
