So let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE like all your quotes.
Buttt, it kinda annoys me how everyone is always picking on this song cause of whatever.
I feel like everyone kinda looks too deep into it rather than just enjoying it. Besides, I'm pretty sure the point was that she understands the guy better than the other girl who doesn't get him at all, and THAT is why she belongs with him, and the chorus I think was just saying that yeah she's probably the better seeming choice cause she popular, all that, but again, she doesn't get you like I do.
But that's just me. Then again, I guess people can somehow find a bone to pick with any song, but if someone else wrote a hit like You Belong With Me, I doubt they'd not record it cause of a few people who might take it the wrong way or find something "incorrect" in it, you know?
But yeah again, I love you and your quotes, this one just bothered me a tad cause I don't feel like she is "condemning" the other girl's choices as such.

Yeah yeah I know you weren't serious, and I hope I didn't come across as too overreactive cause I can't stand people like that, but idk I saw a quote a while ago about how Taylor is a bad person cause that song is so "sl.ut shaming" and whenever I see something like that about that song it just bothers me to no end.
