How is it offensive? (It's a song first of all not my own words) but it's saying I'm reaching out to Jesus but I'm just not getting any answers. I use to be a Christian but I found myself struggling with my faith because when I needed help, advice, anything really I felt left alone and ignored. I don't mean to be offensive and I think it's safe to say that everyone struggles with their faith at some point. I don't disregard the idea of Jesus, I just don't think it's something I can follow wholeheartedly.
No, you are saying that you "tried calling Jesus", but he "put you on hold", which basically means that He had "other calls to attend to", and basically didn't have time for you.
Alright well I was trying to be nice but now you're acting weird so whatever. It's a song. Calm the f*ck down. It's not like I'm hailing Satan over here, and if I was it has nothing to do with you.
The song is saying that Jesus didn't have time for me, clearly. I don't see why that's so offensive. It's just how the band and many other people have felt. If you disagree with that, that's fine but don't act like I'm a horrible person for posting a quote. Like. it's a song. Calm down.
