No it upsets him because he doesn't like how you speak so negatively of yourself when you're such an amazing person and he doesn't like you seeing yourself that way and wishes you could see yourself the way he and many others see you
The way you see yourself isn't the same as other people see you and it definitely isn't the same to how you interpret yourself when you look in the mirror.
