do the test corrections... he took them, though," I said,
looking up at him.
"Hooooligan," Marshal said, shaking his head and giving me his little half smile as we made our way to the cafeteria, late, after marching band.
"I am not!" I stuck my tongue out at him, smiling.
"Miscreant!" he sang, teasing me and putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Nope," I said, leaning my head into his chest as best as I could. He was tall and, as he liked to remind me, I was short, so positions like this were slightly awkward. But I didn't care, because he was wonderful, beautiful.
