In total, it was seven months. Seven months where I felt like the
most beautiful girl in the world.I knew it was going down hill,
but when the person you love most in the world turns around
and says they don't love you, everything falls apart. The person
you leaned on, your crutch, is now gone. Once again, you're alone,
but this time no one is there to guide you. Every memory you had,
every good time, suddenly means nothing. It hurt, my heart was
breaking. Not literally, but it sure felt like it. He just flat out said
"I don't love you anymore.", and what are you supposed to do?
A lump builds in your throat, but you have no choice but to swallow
it. You can't be immature. You can't say, "I hate you", but you
have to say something, so what do you say? You have to express
to whom ever broken your heart, exactly how you feel. "It makes
me sad that you don't love me anymore, but I'm sure that a piece
of me will always still love you, and probably never get over you."
And then you turn on your heals, and walk away, as fast as you
can, because crying in front of someone who just broke you is not
right. Why should they get the satisfaction of your tears?
