"How are you?" he asked, and I told him I was great. I asked how he was skyping me, and he said that his plane didn't leave yet, and he was at the airport with Louis, Liam, Niall, and Harry. "Hold on, they want to say hi to you." Zayn said, moving out of the picture. Soon the screen was filled with four other boys all waving and saying hello. I laughed and said hello back to them. I even heard one of them whisper "she's cute" to Zayn, and Zayn just smiled and nodded. "How long are you going to be in London for?" I asked. "A week, I think. We're starting our tour in the US next week. We actually have a few shows in Miami." Zayn told me. Honestly, I think it's a sign of fate. But whatever. "That's cool! Call me when you have a free day and we can get together." I said. "Or you can come to one of my concerts. I'll give you a pass." he said. A backstage pass to a One Direction concert? I wasn't gonna argue with that. "I really like you Becca." Zayn said. I wasn't sure if he meant it in a friendly way, or in a way that meant he wanted to be more than friends. Right now, I didn't really care. "I like you too. You're really chill." I said, and waited for his reply. "No, I mean I like you." he said, and I got my answer. So Zayn did like me. In that way. "Oh." was all I could say back to him. I'm pretty sure that's not something you're supposed to say. "I totally understand if you don't feel the same way. We just met, you know." Zayn said. "No, it's not that. I know we just met, but I already feel close to you." I told him. "Exactly. Becca, I know we only met, but let's pretend it's love." he said. I burst out laughing, and he gave me a confused facial expression. "The fact that you just quoted one of your songs makes you 10 times cuter." I said. "Thank you." he replied, and I knew I made him blush. I could see his red cheeks. "Well, my planes leaving in ten minutes. I've got to go. But call me later please?" he asked. "Of course.
