1. It
is another day that i have woken up to a vacant pillow rather
than your face. Something is wrong here.
2. The concealer i'm using to hide the pewter circles under my eyes is the same concealer i used to cover your lovebites. It has been there for me more than you have.
3. The shoes i am wearing today are the ones you could not stand to see undone. I tripped because nobody else cared enough to retie them.
4. I used to walk down this hallway with my hand in yours. Now i find myself fishing for the consolement of my empty pockets.
5. Not a second that the clock ticks goes by without me thinking of how much faster time passed when i was with you.
6. My science teacher seems to think the brightest star is the sun. I don't think he knows you exist yet.
7. Today somebody asked me why my smile was faltering. I replied by telling them to picture a dancing flame being ambushed by water.
8. Going outside to play soccer for gym class does not compare to the night we spent on this field observing our reflection in the constellations.
9. The road leading home looks so beaten today. It must know that you'll never be setting foot on its soil again.
10. I have experienced the warmth of your arms and now nothing else is worth my time. I am aching these dull hours away.
