"I usually sleep with out my shirt, so I hope you don't mind." He said he took of his shirt.
"You could take off your pants too." I offered
"What?" Michael asked
I'm sure he heard me fine, he was just trying to see if I said what I said.
"I mean if you're comfortable like that, I don't mind." I explained
"If I was wearing jeans, I would take your offer, but its sweats so I'm good." He smiled
I hadn't seen him smile in nearly two days. That was a lot considering how beautiful his smile was. A guy with his smile should be smiling all the time. In fact, if dentists wanted to attract patients they should use Michael's smile as an example.
I gazed at Michael and he retured the gaze by deeply staring in my eyes. If I had to write a compare contrast essay on these three boys, their reaction to me would be my biggest point. If Roger caught me staring at him, he would raise his eye brow and try to understand why I'm staring at him. Kai wouldn't be able to look in my eyes, he'd smile and hold his neck. Michael, Michael would just look at me the same why I'd look at him, with out saying a word and what I loved about that was I didn't have to speak for him to know what I have to say. Michael kicked off his sheos and slipped in bed with me. I pulled the blanket over our bodies and faced him.
"I'm sorry." He said
"For what?" I asked
"I sort of over reacted the other day." Michael explained
"No, it was my fault, I gave you mixed messages, and I'm sorry. But, its just that I give mixed messages bcause I'm getting mixed messages. You know." I said
"Ella, can you explain your feelings in all honesty. I won't judge or get upset. I just want to know the truth." He said
"I would explain, but the problem is I don't understand them my self." I said
"What about me, can you at least tell me how you feel about me?" He asked
"I think you're too good to be true." I answered
Micheal chuckled
"It's true." I said
"What's too good about me?" He asked
"Everything, look if they are looking for a picture example for the word perfection, they could just snap a picture of you." I ensured
"I'm good looking, I got that part down, but like what about me. Like my personality." He continued
"It's like you're two people. Sometimes you're the nicest and greatest guy, but sometimes you turn into this jerk. I feel like you are an amazing man, but there is just something that's holding you back from being you. Something you're keeping from me. I don't understand you. But, all I know is I enjoy having you around, if you're not going to be a jerk that is." I explained.
Michael smiled
"You are a mind reader." He said
"I wish." I smiled
He scooted towards me and I slipped into his arms and rested my face on his chest.
"You smell like heaven." I said
"And you smell like beer, and tacos." He guessed
I chuckled
"By the way, where were you?" He asked
"I was at a party with a stranger I met on the beach." I explained
"There's another one?" Michael asked in suprise
"He's just a nice guy." I said
"I was a nice guy who you met on the beach." He argued
"Yeah, but it could've been him in this bed right now. But it isn't" I said
"Danm right it isn't and it will never be." He assured
"For your sake I hope you're right." I yawned
"Good night Ella." He yawned
