He thinks I hate him because I used to not like him so I was sarcastic and pretty rude toward and around him
My friend used to like him
My other friends hate him
hes kinda rude
I made an idiot of myself in front of him
and to top it all off;
He's taken.

Try to warm up to him, show him that you don't hate him, but don't lead him on. Your friends should understand that if you like him and he likes you, then you should be able to be together. They shouldn't decide how you feel.
