Negative people are only happy when they are bringing you down

Nah, I'm a horrible pessimist, but I absolutely can't stand seeing others sad; it kills me on the inside.

Well if you can't stand seeing the down side of other people, then you're a good person and shouldn't have any reason to be a pessimist.

Haha, I can't really say I expect the worst of every situation I ever encounter by choice.
