I'm stuck in a rut. Day in, day out. Same old sh*t, just a
different day,
I'm sick and tired of beng told what to do, when to do it, how to do it...It's never ending. I feel caged, trapped, hopelessly confined in a town that I don't particularly feel any attatchments to.
I want out. I want to be free of this place.
Pack my bags, jump into a car, drive away and never look back, not even for a parting glance. I wouldn't miss it that's for sure.
I know for some that they feel that their entire lives are here, rooted deep within the earth, the kind that are impossible to tear up or sever,
But I'm a free spirit. I don't tie myself down to anything, least of all this place.
I need to broaden my horizons.
Explore the world.
Experience new things and meet new people.
Satiate my aching heart and fulfill my wildest dreams.
I aspire to be free.
