When I used to think about witty's future I never pictured this...
Witty used to be an escape, a really, really cool one, with over a thousand people a day and all different kinds of people and quotes that were pretty da.m fcking awesome. There are friends on here I've met that have impacted me, and inspired me to be a better person and see things from a different perspective, people who have changed my life. Friends that I'll never forget <3
& who remembers those legendary, amazing users?

Jimmy365 ? Hilarious posts... Also famous for pretending to be a gay guy when in fact was a female :P
And there's sooooo many others. Does anyone else remember that year when it seemed like more boys kept joining each second? And those pointless fights over Nutella and homosexuality and original quotes? And the band phases like One Direction and the Jonas Brothers? And the I-can't-believe-Harry-Potter-is-over time?
No matter what, in the end, we were all a family and there for each other. People would pile non stop comments on a quote like 'I wish I was dead' and save lives with the fact that they simply cared.
So much stuff has happened, so many unforgettable friendships formed. & we're all that's left.
Witty will either die with what's left of us, or we can resurrect it. But my main point is, that I love this website, and it has changed me, and so have the people I've found on here, and I just wish it wasn't ending in such a dreadful way. Witty was a home for me.

<3 I'm turning 21 this year....was addicted to witty when I was 16.... Recently came on again...and it's so different...was looking for inspirational ORiGINAL quotes...but all of it is gone...I miss witty way back when.

I really miss Witty. I've been so busy this year, and I came back just today, and it's a different place... I feel like I came home from school one day only find out 15 years had passed and new people lived in my house and all my neighbors were dead or gone... this is so strange. Where is everyone? Hopefully they'll come back over the summer?? I'm so confused... I made so many friends on here. I've talked people out of committing suicide, and tried to guide people through their struggles with eating disorders based on how I got out of my own. Wow. I have so many memories here. I guess I can accept that it was a phase of my life that is now over, but what about other people? Witty was here for me when I needed it, but so many other people need somewhere to go NOW. And Witty isn't really there anymore.

I miss those pointless fights, I really do. At the time I used to be so damn annoyed over all the 1D, nutella, gay, and jocked quotes crap, but I miss it now. SO much. I'm not kidding when I say that Witty saved my life. It did. Wittians did. Now half of them are gone. and some are dead...
I just...UGH! It's so hard to see your home fading away like this.

Aww, this makes me sad :( I used to freak out when I didn't come on because I knew I'd have missed the good quotes of that day or some fight or something... Now I can catch up on quotes if I log in once a week :(

and now about 90% of quotes are all from fυcken tumblr. i'm not innocent either, but you'll look at the top quotes page and they're all. from. tumblr. if i wanted tumblr, i'd go to tumblr.
