I remember the first day. I remember the air was cool and I remember that I couldn't keep my eyes open as I talked to you, drifting off even though I wanted so badly to stay awake. I don't know that I ever truly loved you, but I think that, at one point I wanted to. You were everything I was meant to want; beautiful and incredible. I think that, maybe I wanted you, and that maybe I shouldn't have. But now I know better. I don't want you, and I don't want always. I just need you, for a while, not forever.
