one of my dogs (I have four), got stuck in one of my neighbor's

one of my dogs (I have four), got stuck in one of my neighbor's traps today. his foot is pretty bad looking (but not as bad as it could look.) he is a real.. dbag and it's so annoying that I can't blame him fully. I mean, it WAS his property and all. still, traps like that shouldn't even be legal. it is one thing to kill an animal for food, in a quick and painless manner (I live in the country, where people hunt to live and the only people that hunt for sport are spoiled townies), and torturing an animal for hours. maybe even days, it all depends on how long it took you to go check the trap. my dog was missing for hours. he likes to chase rabbits. he probably followed one over. and snap. those kinds of traps aren't humane in any way. it is pure pain. like it's pretty much a "break the leg and let it suffer for as long as it takes to go check it, or until it dies of starvation/infection/etc." it's abuse. like if legit bear traps are illegal, why aren't miniature ones? idk, I'm just sad and mad right now.
