My Dad died a few days ago,
He was only 38,
My younger brother is only 5,
My dad was my hero
We lost him to a brain hemorrhage,
In a coma for 2 weeks,
No warning.
Heaven has gained such a wonderful man,
He will be missed so much.
R.I.P Daddy,
I Love You <3

If you’ve ever
tried to fight tears on the bus ride home, and failed.
If you’ve ever lied about why your eyes were glazed over,
and you were believed.
This one’s for you.
If you’ve ever stopped listening to your favorite band
because he liked them too.
If you’ve ever hated a girl you didn’t know
because he picked her over you.
This one’s for you.
If you’ve ever wished you were weak enough to cry in public.
If you’ve ever constantly hid behind laughter and smiles.
This one’s for you.
If you’ve ever bit your lip to stop it from quivering.
If you’ve ever walked with your eyes planted on the ground.
This one’s for you.
If you’ve ever stared into the darkness before sleep,
trying to avoid the ‘what’s if’s’ and ‘if only’s’.
If you’ve ever listened to totally different music,
but ended up thinking about him anyway.
This one’s for you.
The girl who doesn’t get the guy.
The girl who still lives her life to the fullest she can.
The girl who gets up every day and doesn’t give up.
This one’s for you,
because it takes so much to be that strong.

That's what really scares me.
Falling in love is easy. Having s.ex is easier. But bumping into someone who can spark your soul — that s.hit is rare. You could f.uck four, five, all the people in a godd.amned room and you'd only feel a connection with one. Or none at all. And what sucks is despite the undeniably real magnetic pull between the two of you, more often than not, you don't end up together. I'm afraid I won't meet anyone else I can connect with. I'm scared it'll be just you.

Time heals? Time doesn’t heal. Time only forgets. The wounds are still there, the memories scabbing, festering somewhere inside the cranium. Time is an anesthetic. But you are a claw post, a punching bag, a collection of scars that knows how to breathe. And so you do.
