The greatest lesson that I'm
still learning—
I probably will never live it down, but maybe
I don't know, I'm not learning very gracefully.
It is that people will always, maybe not always,
try to be a little more optimistic than that, will
sometimes, but usually always, take your
kindness for weakness.
But the bigger lesson is not to let that stop you from being kind.
Ever.
The world will try to tell you that you need to be
harsh and bitter and a "b a d ä s s" to get through it,
but you don't have to. I think it's more important and
it's actually cooler to be nice. It is much more cool to be
kind.
Remember it's cool to be kind. Let 'em do whatever
they want, Let 'em rip you apart, but
Don't let 'em take the light out of
you.
