Everybody thats human makes mistakes.
Some mistakes are bigger then others.
I made a huge mistake.
And its nobody's fault but my own.
Who knew a little pill could take somebody's life.
And ruin so many others.
I sure didn't.
I was at a party one night.
I was offered that little pill.
And I took it.
Swallowing my life away.
I started feeling dizzy.
Shaking and turning blue,
I decided I needed to leave.
It was so easy for me to leave then.
I asked God so many times after that,
"Why Couldn't I Have Left Before I Took That Pill?"
I got into my car.
Having a hard time finding my keys.
I carelessly forget to lock my seatbelt in place.
I turn on the car and start to drive.
My body is numb.
Am I driving slow or fast?
Theres no way of telling.
Everything is spinning.
I didn't see the little 4 year old
crossing the street infront of me.
I heard a bang and my car came to a complete stop.
I just took the life of a little boy.
His name was Isaac.
And in that one night,
I had made the biggest mistake of my life.
