Here's a little bit about me - I hope anyone who reads this can maybe begin to understand me a little:
My name is Amanda and I've lived in the same town since birth.
When I was seven years old - my dad died in a car accident.
I won't lie about this - I don't tell people I love them because the last words I said to my dad were
"I love you."
When I was fourteen, I found my dog dead in the backyard in the middle of the night.
When I was sixteen, I crashed my car and realized how scared I was of the road.
When I was seventeen, I thought my life was tuning around.
When I was seventeen, my mother got a life of death surgery.
She survived, but the aftermath - she might as well be dead.
She lost her job and a year later she got it back.
She still can't make it a full week of working because she is still in and out of the hospital.
I've made a fool of myself in front of people who will never care about me that I wish would.
I've been depressed, not diagnosed, for as long as I can remember.
Sometimes I think I'm okay.
I thought I was okay for years.
Until I had a breakdown for twelve hours about the things that are always on my mind.
I worry about people hating me and I worry about disappointing people.
I say sorry for everything because I think it's my fault.
I blame my father for dying - even though I was miles away from his car.
I make mistakes every day.
Every hour, every minute.
But part of me will always love this world.
