Best Alcohol Quotes Today

FUN PARTY TRICK:
Take a dollar and soak it in 70% rubbing alcohol.  Then take a match/lighter and light the dollar bill on fire (make sure you're holding the dollar with tongs or something).  The dollar will stop the fire in a few seconds and nothing will happen to it.  It'll be dry.

Not a joke.  I did it in my science class and it works.

That man sitting
on the corner of
the steet, begging
for change
—he
was once a young
boy, playing pretend,
dreaming of his
future and its possibilities.

That girl, with the noose
around her neck, hanging
so quietly
—she was once
a young girl, getting lost
in a world full of magic,
in love with life.

That teenage boy, drinking
his father's stash of whiskey,
in desperate need to numb
the pain deep within his chest;
there was time when
he promised himself
he would never let it
come to this.

Now look in the mirror,
is this what you pictured
for yourself when you
were naïve and
in love with life?

I think that everyone has to have something to get lost into. Some people go to drugs and alcohol. Some smoke. Some people get lost into music. Some turn to cutting. Some fell into the thought of love. Some just think about life. Some just create little stories or go into their own little world. Some create scenarios. Some twist their memories into better ones. Some live in a world of happiness; their own little world. Some see the world as it is. Some draw their feelings. Some write. Whatever it is, you still have to get lost.
