Beautaplin Quotes

One of the toughest lessons you learn from love is that you cannot breathe life back into the lungs of something that is already dead.

Once two people begin to drift apart, love can be as cold and unrelenting as an ocean. You can expend every ounce of your strength trying to swim back to each other, but sometimes, the pull of the current is just too strong.

No, I do not want to be loved
unconditionally. I want to be
shown when I am treating you
less than you deserve. I want
you to leave if I ever start making
you promises I do not see
through. Love me for my flaws,
yes. But don’t you dare ever
allow them to hurt you.

Beau Taplin

Never be sorry for who you are. Your personality should never be shrouded in what society expects of you. Be shamelessly, unapologetically you. You will find the world rallies behind those who carve roads of their own.

It’s been a long, hard road but I’ve finally
found the closure I need to move on.
I’ve learned to accept that my all is not always
going to be enough and love is neither
owed nor earned it either is or it’s not.
I gave you the world, but you wanted the stars.

you have a tourist heart. Room enough for the essentials, but very little else. You travel spontaneously from place to place, leaving your mark before quickly moving on. And that is okay. My time with you was beautiful– but it was never home.

A relationship is like a slow dance. Every movement must be taken carefully and in consideration of the partner’s and a single misstep can often result in disaster. But when a couple dedicates themselves to perfecting this performance, to the pursuit of intimately knowing each other, the result is devastatingly beautiful. Selflessness and compromise meet together like clasped hands. While trust and loyalty lock like a love-struck gaze. Care and understanding bear each challenge with mastery and poise, like pairs of nimble feet spinning gracefully across a dance floor. As one partner bends, the other bows. As one partner falls, the other reaches out to catch her. When a relationship works, it is effortless and fluid—a meticulously choreographed pirouette between two partnered souls in perfect balance.

‘This Slow Dance’ | Beau Taplin

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN an ordinary life and an extraordinary one is only a matter of perspective. Pull the blinds. Look around you. It is a weird wonderful world and you do not require a ten digit bank account to immerse yourself in it. Travel down dusty roads without a destination in mind. Climb a mountain and scream out into the void. Kiss a stranger. Skinny dip in a lake. Get lost and lose yourself (these are two separate things). Explore the wilderness (particularly the one within). Think less of destiny and more of the moment right here. Because when you are nearing the end of your life, surrounded by all of your family and friends, fame won’t matter, nor will the extent of your wealth—you are the sum of the stories you can tell.

There is something sick and sorry about a world that endorses the consumption of other human beings as if they were no more than just another material thing—that teaches us it is OK to cycle through romances like they were the chamber of a revolver in a game of Russian roulette.

I hope you never steal someone’s heart just to fill a hole or heal a hurt. A person’s love is not a raincoat you slip on only when it storms.
