Do you ever get that strange feeling

After finishing a really good book?


Right after you finish there is an empty feeling inside your heart.
You want the story to become reality.
You feel a weird sadness as everything relates back to that book.
It makes you want to create changes in your life and become what you always wanted.
The fact that the story is over bogs your mind, 
But you don't think you can ever get through reading it again.
The real world comes back, and you wish you could just trade places with the main character.
You got to know the characters so well that it is almost like losing a close friend.
You feel like crying because of your own life, but also rejoicing because you found a new one in that book.
The end of a good book is like closing the door to a world that you will never be able to visit again.

 
It's probably one of the best and worst feelings in the world.

I'm stressed because I don't want to be a nurse or a teacher or a lawyer.
I just want to read books and listen to music and travel and drink coffee. But, there's so much pressure to become successful in terms of money and my career and I don't want to do any of that.



Imagine a library filled with every book in the world, none of them have titles on the cover and the pages are blank, but when you open one you are instantly transported to the world within the book. You get to live the story as any character for as long as you like. And when you come out of the story, almost no time has past in the real world



one thing I will never understand is how normal people are unaffected by movies or books I mean when they watch a movie or finish a book they say “well that was a good movie/book” and they move on while I have an existentional crisis and question the whole universe
