Sometimes I sit on
the bus and watch how life is happening around me.
I notice how another car needs to stop so my bus can continue on.
What if one second could decide whether we live or die? We trust
every single human being around us that they are able to control
themselves. We trust that the people walking past us every day
won't pull out a gun and shoot hysterically around them. Who
gives you the assurance that the lady walking towards you can
control herself. She appears normal, like the "she
doesn't look mentally ill" kind of normal. But, on the
outside, so do you. Nobody knows about your weekly breakdowns.
Who gives you the assurance that the man in the braking car
doesn't accelerate and cause an accident. Maybe he didn't
see us, or maybe he's just insane.
We trust them. We have no choice.
