Controversy Quotes

Better over the top than under the bottom.
i really want to post a super controversial quote but i'm afraid of getting hurt
it's not about gay rights or anything, but it's about depression

should i post it
I don't know if it makes any sense, but I'm starting to feel as if our beliefs and stuff are less of a choice and more of a predisposition. If not a predisposition, it's at most a subconscious choice. Like, maybe just moved and changed by our environment and people around us. Because, when you think about it, there are some things we just cannot truly explain /why/ we favor or believe or go against. There are things we can, though. I can't tell you /why/ I find green to be the most appealing color or /why/ I'm atheist or /why/ I prefer indie and underground music to any other; I just know that it feels right to me. And I think this goes for everything, which is why I think it's so immature to bash someone for their religion or beliefs, to a certain extent. On the other hand, we do choose some of our beliefs. I definitely chose to be a vegetarian and have good reasons as to why I am and support animal rights. I chose to be pro-choice with fact to support why. I chose to exercise and start getting healthier and have reasons why. So I think there are just a lot of thinks that are either predispositions or heavily and unconsciously influenced by the world around us, because our opinions change; our tastes change; our beliefs change. I kind of felt that maybe we don't choose all of our beliefs. It just hurts my head to think about.

Sometimes, controversial statements are the best ones to be made,
because they spark interest, and thought, something that rarely happens anymore.
