To get lost in the sweet notes and sink into an alternatate
reality where the world is perfect again and no one wants to hurt
you, use you, or abuse you. Where the cuts on your arm and
stomach don't matter and the notes will accept you however
you are. When the words of the song describe every crack in your
bleeding heart and every broken stitch where you tried to fix
yourself, but the world wielded a knife far sharper then you
imagined. Or when you are in love and that song holds the sounds,
the smells, the feeling of his skin against yours, the precious
memories etched into the very essance of your being, down to the
very roots of your soul. When your anger boils every drop of
blood in your veins and your heart beats faster then your hands
can hit the walls, bloodying your knuckles in wrath. The notes
that either calm your mind, or secure the hatred bubbling as a
volcano, ready to explode.
