Doll Quotes

Poem.

I am like the female paper doll,
inside my chest, lied a paper heart 
wrapped with even more paper.
So it wouldn't be hurt, because it

was fragile, and it would keep  it from
falling apart, underneath it was 
your name. Unwrapping the paper
around my paper heart, it fell into pieces.

Your name now cut up into pieces.
The ink of your name, drips itself
out of the paper, like my blood
drips out from my paper cuts.

Paper cuts, from trying to make my
paper heart back into pieces, because
if my love is written words into poetry
along of these lines, stand only her name
on your paper heart.

 The girl, who broke  your paper heart, 
and for you spent days fixing it with either
school glue or paper tape, only to get
paper cuts, on the tips of your fingers.

So when she broke your heart..did
she also crack your spine, so you can
always fall in her direction? Or was it
just me, when I saw you fall for her,

and not for me.

When I was little
I had this mermaid doll
That I carried around everywhere with me
And I was convinced that
When I grew up
I would be a mermaid
